Preface:This book is a companion book to “Kingdom Conversations” written by a grandfather who feels compelled to tell the whole gospel story to his grandchildren in a way that they can hopefully hear his voice speaking God’s Good News into their lives even after “Papa” is gone. Papa’s prayer is that it might be used by God to draw his grandchildren to Himself, his Son, and his Kingdom. And also that God might perhaps bless other readers by these words of Truth like God has richly blessed him.
Forward:Mark Applewhite, a.k.a. Papa, spent three decades of his life in darkness, full of self-sufficiency, and ignorant of what if means to be “made new” by God. Now he has spent three decades+ growing in, walking with, and telling others about his Savior, Jesus Christ, who saw fit to make Papa into a “completely new creation.” All of this in God’s perfect timing, and for God’s good purposes.
Papa now writes when he feels God’s prompting and shares what he has written with his grandchildren, and anyone else who is willing to give it a look.
